Ordinary Council Meetings are held weekly on Wednesday's at 10:00am in Council Chambers which are located on the first floor of the Sir Albert Abbott Administration Building Gordon Street. Agenda items for consideration by council are as follows:

The Ordinary Meetings are open for public attendance (except when confidential matters are tabled and the meeting is closed for discussion as allowed by the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993).
The minutes of each Ordinary Meeting are confrmed at the next available Ordinary Meeting.
Council can also directly consider matters at an Ordinary meeting, with the format being as set under the Meetings Subordinate Local Law (PDF 206.1 kb) of Council.
