Mackay Regional Freight Summit 2010
The First Mackay Regional Council Freight Summit was held on 28th October 2010, at the MECC and was designed to enable participants the opportunity to hear from specialists in the industry about the needs of the long term freight industry to accommodate growth.
The morning session of the seminar provided participants the opportunity to listen to key speakers regarding operational issues that impact the freight industry and potential solutions for the freight industry. While the afternoon session was designed to enable participants the opportunity to work in small working groups to discuss and develop ideas and solutions around key themes.
Notes from the afternoon have been included in the Freight Summit Summary Report which was prepared by Elton Consulting (Facilitator).
