Mackay Region Traffic Studies

Initial background work was undertaken in 2002 by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. The project was designed to develop a set of assumptions relating to population growth, employment, residential growth and new roads to project future traffic volumes on the regional trunk roads. Over the years the Department of Transport and Main Roads has worked on this material to develop a set of papers to document the assumptions made to date.
