Proposed Amendments 2 of 2010 to Mackay City Planning Scheme
Purpose and scope of the amendments
Queensland Maritime Safety recently revised tide levels based on more comprehensive and accurate data. As a result of this, a number of provisions in the Mackay City Planning Scheme are now based superseded tide level information. As such, the proposed “Minimum development levels amendments” seek to update planning scheme provisions based on tide levels. Council considers these proposed amendments to be minor in nature.

Council is currently liaising with the State Government in relation to the process for progressing these proposed amendments.
