MUSIC (Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualisation) guidelines
The MUSIC software is used to determine appropriate stormwater management measures such as bioretention basins, constructed wetlands etc. Developments that are considered “high risk” are to demonstrate the achievement of council’s water quality objectives through the use of the MUSIC software. MUSIC is the industry standard predictive modelling software which is used throughout Australia.
Mackay Regional Council MUSIC Guidelines have been developed for the Mackay region to assist consultants in undertaking MUSIC modelling.
These guidelines provide advice on using MUSIC in the Mackay region for local rainfall data and soil types.
