Council provides boat ramp facilities at many locations within its local authority area, including:

• Dunrock (Sandy Creek)
• Mackay (River Street)
• Mackay Boat Harbour Pontoon
• Eimeo (Sunset Boulevard)
• Alligator Bend (Howells Rd, Constance Creek)
• Seaforth (Victor Creek)
• Murray Creek (Little Bogga Road)
• St Helen's Beach (Carpetsnake Point)
• Bucasia Boat Ramp (The Esplanade - Eimeo Creek end)
• Shoal Point (O'Brien Esplanade)
• Halliday Bay (The Esplanade)
• Cape Hillsborough (next to Caravan Park)
• Midge Point Foreshore (Peters Avenue)

Requirements at ramps

People must not drive onto a boat ramp unless launching or retrieving their boat.

All rubbish must be deposited in nearby bins, with the exception of fish offal, which should be deposited in bins away from the boat ramp to discourage scavenging by animals and unpleasant odours.
