Graduate Development Program

Mackay Regional Council has an active and exciting Graduate Development Program providing recent graduates with the opportunity to gain practical experience in your chosen fields and be matched with inspiring mentors and buddies to provide advice and support. Graduates will gain an excellent understanding of the Local Government & Regional Council operations over the 12 month development program.

Each Graduate will be placed in a permanent position, giving both job security and a platform to launch your career. Graduates will have access to all of the entitlements of a permanent public sector employee (including generous leave and flexible work arrangements), and will be provided with great training and development opportunities.
