Online Resources

Mackay Regional Council Libraries:

Seek Discover Grow

The library service provides an excellent range of online resources for customers. Whether you're accessing information outside of library hours or are simply browsing the website, our online resources collection has something for everyone.

Online Databases

An online database is an organised list of published information sources (usually journal articles), either giving directions (a citation) to where you can find the full information or containing the information itself (full-text databases).

Online databases contain information from newspapers and journals, etc. Most databases are only accessible via authentication (login) as they are considered to be a value-added resource.

Other databases available through Mackay libraries include databases that can only be accessed in the library and also databases that are completely free.
