There are a number of Council searches available to prospective homeowners in the Mackay Regional Council area. Searches are arranged by completing a Property Information Search Form (PDF 41kb) and paying the relevant fee.

Planning Scheme Overlays
Planning Scheme Overlays can have serious implications for property owners such as minimum height construction requirements for property in flood-prone areas. View the City's Planning Scheme Overlays (HTML 976kb) for further information. You can see what overlays may apply by visiting MiMAPS and selecting the Planning and Land Use theme and choosing the Overlays layer.
