Drummuster

DrumMUSTER is a national environmental program for the collection and recycling of empty, cleaned, non-returnable crop production and on-farm animal health chemical containers.

DrumMUSTER is undertaken jointly by farmers/chemical users, local government and the crop production and animal health industries.

The responsible use of chemicals, and waste management initiatives means a cleaner environment for the community as a whole and adds to Australia's clean and green image.

Collection sites are located at council's Calen depot (Pratts Road, Calen), Sarina depot (Sarina Beach Road, Sarina), Paget Waste Management Centre (Crichtons Road, South Paget), Seaforth Transfer Station (Yakapari-Seaforth Road, Seaforth), Kolijo Rural Transfer Station (Pelion Road, Kolijo), Bloomsbury Rural Transfer Station (Bloomsbury Back Road, Bloomsbury) and Benholme Quarry (Mackay-Eungella Road, Mirani).
