Household waste collection

Residents must have their wheelie bins out by 6am on the day of collection. Please place your bins approximately one metre from the kerb and at least 30cm apart.

General waste collection

Collection of household waste occurs weekly, check MiMAPS (select the services and infrastructure map theme) to find out which day of the week your rubbish is collected. 

Recyclables collection

Collection of recycling is collected fortnightly on the same day as your general household waste. To find out which week your recycling bin is collected look for either a 1 or 2 sticker on your recycling bin and refer the recycling calendar. Recycling calendars are available from council's Customer Service Centres.
