Mackay Infrastucture Alliance

The Mackay Infrastructure Alliance has been established to manage the expansion and improvement of local infrastructure. 

The upgrade is delivered by Mackay Regional Council, Tenix Alliance, Cardno and Parsons Brinckerhoff, is a vital step towards managing the future requirements of the region.

The alliance will offer substantial and lasting benefits to the community, including:

• Provision of sustainable water and wastewater services to meet the needs of the growing region’s population
• Reduced impacts on the community from wastewater infrastructure blockages, overflows, spills, odours, operating noise and visual appearance
• Maintenance of local community and environmental health
• Cost-effective water and wastewater services for ratepayers
• New facilities for the changing needs of council
